The GloArts Vision
These four organizations represent the next generation of Gloucester artists in dance, theater, music, and visual art. In 2025, we decided to combine our efforts and address the biggest barrier to making art on Cape Ann: the cost of space.
Our combined experience as professional interdisciplinary artists, art educators, and art administrators make us uniquely positioned to develop a sustainable center for contemporary art in downtown Gloucester.
The GloArts Team is currently developing a proposal with the goal of renting the second and third floor of the Brown’s Building at 11 Pleasant Street, Gloucester, MA, totaling over 17,000 square feet. This flexible, multidisciplinary model can also be applied to other locations in town. Learn more.
