The GloArts Vision
These five organizations represent the next generation of Gloucester artists in dance, theater, music, and visual art. In 2025, we decided to combine our efforts and address the biggest barrier to making art on Cape Ann: the cost of space.
Our combined experience as professional interdisciplinary artists, art educators, and art administrators make us uniquely positioned to develop a sustainable center for contemporary art in downtown Gloucester.
The GloArts Team is in discussions with building owners across Cape Ann to find a space where all five organizations can rent space together and create the Gloucester Center for the Arts.
